What is The Black Page?

Originally created by the late Frank Zappa as a drum solo, The Black Page is an extremely technical and difficult piece of music to perform note for note.

How does this relate to technical writing?

Because some loyal fans couldn’t quite grasp the “statistical density” in its basic form, Zappa concocted The Black Page Part Two, The Easy Teenage New York Version for his less technically adept music fans. Once it was performed, the bewilderment was wiped from their faces, and suddenly they understood Zappa's musical message.

In the ilk of Frank Zappa, The Black Page Press exists to help businesses take their complex technical information and transform it into digestible copy that almost anyone can understand. Whether it is for an engineer, a support specialist, or an end-user, through incorporating vernacular anomalous, we can tailor the content coherently.
